The tables for each sub-theme in section 5 of the programme refer to this list to show where the credits come from.

The students acquire the knowledge contained in the programme through theoretical teaching, practical exercises, client-directed practice and by writing a further study. All the main subjects in the training programme form the basis for the practical studies / further study and are similarly weighted (see table in section 8).

The course of study is divided as follows:

         Theoretical teaching                 36 credits (108 ECTS)   
         Client-directed practice        16 credits  ( 48 ECTS)
         Skills training                         4 credits  ( 12 ECTS)  
         Further study             4 credits  ( 12 ECTS)    

The practical teaching / further study are divided as follows (see also the table in section 7)

Term 2    * Environmental therapy work with emphasis on nursing and care
Term 4    * Environmental therapy work oriented towards persons with mental handicaps, autism and complex functional problems
